Our flagship event, the 'Annual Meeting', will gather up to 70 Alumni, previously students and employees within the EIT Digital ecosystem, to learn from each other, discuss together trending hot topics, listen to inspiring speakers, have fun and spend an amazing long weekend with old and new friends. This is *the* event you certainly don’t want to miss!
In 2018, our Annual Meeting in the Dolomites reunited 99 members for 3 unforgettable days of knowledge sharing, outdoor sports, enriching workshops and an adventurous night at the Science Museum. In 2019, the Annual Meeting in Porto gathered more than 120 alumni for a walking tour around blue-tiled historic buildings, lovely views atop hills, workshops and talks by their fellow alumni, surf lessons on the Atlantic Ocean, and experiencing some of the local traditions like fado music and port wine.
After the inevitable cancellation of the Annual Meeting in Split in 2020, we worked hard to bring our flagship event back, and we are happy and proud to say announce that despite the challenges, the Annual Meeting 2021 will take place in the beautiful city of Stockholm.
This year, our focus is to reconnect and get to meet again old and new faces we have only been able to see behind screes. We will offer you once again a broad range of activities, that will not only bring back the entrepreneurial spirit and creativity we nourished during our EIT Digital studies, but will also allow you to take a short holiday with the people you love.
The theme of the 2021 Annual Meeting is “Social Responsibility in Tech”, focusing on the main challenges we face when it comes to digitalization. You will have a unique opportunity to discuss with your fellow alumni and reflect on the ways in which we can transform our society into a utopia or dystopia, covering key aspects that affect all of us alike, such as sustainability, inclusion, diversity, data privacy and public transparency.
The programme strikes a perfect balance between professional development and networking opportunities, from tech talks and hands-on workshops to city tours, interactive games and other team building and social events!
Registrations will start on the 17th of September at 20:00 CEST.

2. Local Participant, which includes:

- Unique networking opportunities & infinite fun
The registration does not include:
- Drinks, snacks and other extras not mentioned in “The registration includes” section
- Transportation (e.g. flights, trains, etc.) between your location and Stockholm
- Travel insurance, visa and any other formalities
We encourage you to show your employer this invitation letter and - hopefully - they will grant you a one-day permit. In addition, Nov 1st is Bank holiday in most European countries, and Sweden is such an amazing country you might consider coming some days in advance or staying longer in the area, so that flights might also be cheaper!
