Mentorship programme

Within the Alumni community, we are launching a Mentorship programme, where younger members (mentees) starting their careers will receive guidance and support from more experienced Alumni (mentors) who already have successful careers. This support may include: career and business advice, exchanging stories and experiences, access to job opportunities, technical topics of expertise (security, UX, networks, …) or even soft-skills, such as event planning or strategy.

Would you like to have a personal coach helping you with career choices, development of (personal) projects or just sharing their experience? Then APPLY HERE, and we will match you based on your interests!

Some hours per month could make a huge difference for a mentee, especially when looking for opportunities or just starting their careers! Do you feel like giving back to the community? Then JOIN US based on your availability!

The Mentorship Programme is led by our Alumnus Shikhar Singh. Do you feel like helping out? Contact us at or on any of our Social Media channels!

What are you actually doing?
I am working as a Project Leader at Airbus. In other words, #wemakeitfly.

Which cartoon character do you resemble the most?
Shaggy from Scooby Doo. My life is all about food and I end up doing big things on the side, just like him. Hehe.

Who is the most inspirational person of your life? Why?
My heroes are my parents. They have a very humble background and worked day and night to make ends meet and make sure that I have all I need to succeed in life. This was a real life example of dedication, grit and determination for me.

If you could be a superhero, which superpower would you like to have?
Fly to the stars....and beyond.

How long have you been involved in the Alumni community? Why you did it?
I started making impactful contributions to the community from 2017 and hope to grow the community and my contributions going forward.

Why is this network so important? Which opportunities and potential do you see in it?
For me, EIT is like a family and a community and I would like to make it bigger and stronger.
