“Building a startup isn’t just about solving a problem: it’s about perseverance, learning, and creating something that truly makes a difference.”
Turning corporate experience into a startup vision

Jacqueline Nuwame's entrepreneurial approach is deeply rooted in marketing and communications with 20 years’ experience driving growth for global brands like Manulife and DHX Media. Today, she channels that expertise into Minimal App, her startup using wearables and AI to help women navigate menopause, a phase often stigmatized and underserved.
With a Master’s in Leadership for Sustainability and degrees in sociology & communications, Jacqueline combines business acumen, marketing know-how, and a vision for impact-driven entrepreneurship to create solutions that matter.
Solving a problem too long ignored
Jacqueline founded Minimal to address a gap: while women spend more than a third of their lives in peri- or post-menopause, few tools exist to help them manage symptoms like hot flashes, brain fog, or night sweats. Minimal collects engagement data via wearables and transforms it into actionable lifestyle insights, empowering women to take control of this life stage.
