From the moment my EIT journey started in 2019, it became one of the most significant and positive experiences of my life, primarily because of the people – the vibrant community of students. I once believed graduation would be the conclusion, but the EIT Digital Alumni has wonderfully proven otherwise. This organization ensures we can continue to meet and connect, year after year, offering the chance to reconnect with familiar faces and build new relationships within the digital sector. Having gained so much, both personally and professionally, from this community, I feel it's important for me to now give back so we can keep bringing opportunities for the whole EIT Digital community.
Regarding the future of the community, I truly believe in the potential of EIT Digital Alumni to foster connections that can turn into innovative ideas, projects and, eventually, businesses. I think our focus should be on trying to bring the people together, raising awareness about all the positive experiences and opportunities that the Alumni organization brings. Communication is key for this, and by leveraging digital platforms and organizing engaging events, we can create a vibrant and collaborative ecosystem where members feel valued, informed, and empowered to contribute.
My consistent involvement in EIT Digital Alumni events since graduation demonstrates my commitment to the community. I have been actively participating and promoting the organization, and I am eager now to collaborate with a group of talented and passionate peers. Furthermore, I have some experience in organizing events with budget constraints. As an extra, I've got a math degree, which, hey, has to count for something, right? :)
Since graduating in November 2022, I've been an active member of the EIT Digital Alumni community. My first event was the 2023 Annual Meeting in Madeira, which was a fantastic experience. Despite not knowing many attendees, I found it incredibly enriching to connect with both seasoned alumni and enthusiastic first-year students. Since then, I've made an effort to participate in all EIT Digital Alumni events, including the 2024 co-living in Sardinia, the 2024 Annual Meeting in Málaga and the 2025 co-living in Gran Canaria. I've also been encouraging my friends and colleagues from previous years
