Paloma Dominguez Sanchez

Position
Outreach & Partnerships Officer
Motivation for applying to this position

Hello! I am applying for the Outreach and Partnership role.

First of all, I am applying to be part of the board in general because I share the mission of EIT Digital Alumni—to connect the community and keep it alive after graduation. I believe this is even more valuable than the master's program itself, not only because of the professional opportunities it brings but also because of the real friendships formed along the way.

Specifically, I am applying for the Outreach and Partnership role because I am a highly communicative and social person. I love connecting people and ideas, and I already work in Tech Sales, which has given me the know-how to reach potential sponsors and opportunities.

Vision and plans for the community

My main mission is to keep the Digital Alumni community alive, with a particular focus on supporting new generations. Many young alumni feel uncertain about their professional paths and disconnected from the community, and I want to change that.

One key initiative I see as a solution is strengthening the Local Representatives program. While online events have their place, people are eager to connect in person. By empowering local reps to organize meetups and networking events, we can foster deeper relationships and create a sense of belonging within the community.

Additionally, I want to establish partnerships with other EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs). Digital innovation does not exist in isolation—it intersects with fields like food, health, energy, and more. By collaborating with other KICs, we can expand our network, create cross-disciplinary opportunities, and enhance the value of our alumni community.

Ultimately, my goal is to create a more engaged, supportive, and interconnected alumni network where members find both professional opportunities and lifelong friendships.

Why people should vote for me

I am deeply committed to keeping the EIT Digital Alumni community strong, engaged, and valuable for everyone—especially for new generations who often feel lost in their professional journey. My focus is on real connections, real opportunities, and real impact.
