I am applying to this role because I have received a lot from the alumni, and I would like to contribute to making the community more visible and known among the EIT Digital graduates. The marketing officer position falls right among my interests because it requires that same mix of creativity, technology, and human connection that brought me to study HCID.
My plan is simple: to let people see how many wonderful things come with being an alumnus. I honestly don't think the community needs any particular kind of marketing, the activities and vibes speak for themselves, we just need to display them.
But, in practice, this can be achieved by maintaining a strong social media presence, with engaging content even between the events. Moreover, I think it could be useful to organize events and webinars or find other ways to speak to those alumni that never really approached the community, to answer their doubts and sparkle in them the curiosity to get involved.
Because I'm easygoing and determined, willing to learn new stuff and I never say no to a challenge. I believe I have the knowledge and the skills necessary to make my plan a reality.
You should also vote for me because I have pink hair (which automatically makes me an expert in graphic design and social media) and because if there's one thing I can't do, it is shut up about the things and experiences I love. (I can't do other things as well, but that's beside the point)
I am no stranger to volunteering for the EIT, I did it at the graduation in Madrid at the beginning of my second year (the one with all of the covid graduates) and then as a Student Ambassador. During my graduation, I was the one dragging my friends to the alumni stand to sign up for it; since then I was able to experience the coliving in Sardinia and the annual meeting in Malaga. I am in the process of starting a local community in my city, and at the moment I am flying to my second coliving, excited to start a new adventure.
