I am excited to apply for the role of Outreach and Partnerships Officer for the EIT Digital Alumni Board, as it aligns closely with my passion for community building, networking, innovation, and the core values of EIT Digital.
I am eager to strengthen the connections within our alumni community and surround myself with entrepreneurial, like-minded individuals. Furthermore, after gaining valuable professional experience, I feel deeply motivated by the opportunity to give back—especially considering the impact alumni can have on current and future students—contributing strategically and sustainably over the long term. Leveraging my international experience, along with my past active involvement in nonprofit university associations and their alumni networks, I am ready and enthusiastic to embark on this new challenge.
My vision is to build a dynamic EIT Digital Alumni network that acts as a launchpad for collaboration and innovation—strengthening connections within our community and extending them to the broader EIT ecosystem, particularly toward startups, corporates, and academia.
My strategy is built upon two major pillars:
Increasing student-alumni engagement and growing the alumni network
- Supporting the expansion of events by hosting curated meetups and alumni workshops, including partnerships with local companies.
- Building stronger synergies between alumni and student communities by fostering alumni presence at student events and vice versa, with the eventual goal of launching a mentorship program.
- Scouting for founder stories among alumni to organize fireside chats or interviews in a podcast format.
Developing a two-sided partnership approach
- Internal Expansion within EIT Digital by engaging alumni-founded ventures to establish partnerships and sponsorships, launching a spotlight program, and enabling them to access our talented student pool.
- Internal Expansion at the EIT level by actively collaborating with other KICs (e.g., EIT Health, EIT Food) to promote interdisciplinary activities and joint initiatives such as hackathons.
- External Expansion with a major focus on outreach to VCs, incubators, accelerators, and companies active in deep tech—highlighting EIT Digital as a rich pool of high-potential talent and innovation to attract sponsorship and long-term collaboration.
Alumni should vote for me because I bring a mix of experience, enthusiasm, and creativity to the table—but also because I genuinely love connecting people and making things happen. I believe that a network is more than just a collection of contacts: it’s about sharing goals, values, and experiences that lead to new opportunities.
I have a track record of leading nonprofit and sports communities—organizing events, building partnerships, and energizing members.
I’m here to turn ideas into initiatives, plans into partnerships, and to spread the entrepreneurial spirit within the alumni community. We’re all here because we believe in shaping the future. So why not do it together?
While I haven’t had an official role so far, I’ve always tried to stay connected—participating in webinars to share my experience with current students and supporting local EIT Digital Alumni events in Switzerland. I'm now motivated to step up and contribute more actively to the growth of our vibrant community.
